Welcome to Emily The Vampire Slayer, my name is Emily (surprised?) & this is my personal webspace that is free for me to say as I like in. You don't agree with my ramblings? That's fine, leave. I'm not out to offend or upset anyone but, like most, I'm very opiniated... that can often get in the way of my desire to be friends with everyone I meet because I won't drop my beliefs for anyone. Why should I? But feel free to take a look around and comment my blogs. Any questions, issues or complaints can be addressed here.
And You Thought It Was All Over...

For the last few months I've been heartbroken. Forbidden Planet has cut down on Buffy stocks, the figues are no longer being made (basically there is what there is and you have to try and get your hands on it) and last year the Official Buffy The Vampire Slayer Magazine came to an end, four years after the show's finale.
Even though the fanbase is as strong as ever, I was obviously upset. Lately, I've had to hunt down Buffy merchandise on ebay and its disappointing not being able to walk into shops and see my favourite TV show and its collectables lining the shelves...
But, wait... hahaha, turns out they've had something else planned, something I never saw coming. A new Buffy/Angel magazine where it comes complete with a DVD containing four episodes from the show. AHHHHH!!!
I'm very surprised with the websites that I frequent that I didn't see this coming before, there was actually a vague notice posted on whedonesque - but hardly the publicity I would have expected. Anyway, I first found out this morning. I got up, dragged myself downstairs and put the TV onto FX to check for any Buffy episodes they might be showing. During the commercials, I saw it. The advertisement for the new Buffy/Angel magazines, I almost choked on my own tongue... I seriously thought that I may have imagined it at first. I kept calm and suggested to myself that I was probably still dreaming. Then I got a phone call from my Mum saying: "Em, you'll never guess what? I went into the M&M shop this morning and they had this Buffy magazine, don't worry - I've bought it for you." I was amazed and over the moon! The first thing I did was make a post about it on Facebook. I'm so so so so happy! This is the kinda thing I've been waiting for... also, I'm thinking of making a wishlist somewhere on the site; you know, so I can write down what I want and then cross it off as I get it. I had one before on paper that I've been updating, so I'll put that on this blog:
