Welcome to Emily The Vampire Slayer, my name is Emily (surprised?) & this is my personal webspace that is free for me to say as I like in. You don't agree with my ramblings? That's fine, leave. I'm not out to offend or upset anyone but, like most, I'm very opiniated... that can often get in the way of my desire to be friends with everyone I meet because I won't drop my beliefs for anyone. Why should I? But feel free to take a look around and comment my blogs. Any questions, issues or complaints can be addressed here.
All In The Names

Site Names
emilylovesnigel - This was the name of my first ever site (a piczo one) and it was this because I adored Nigel Harman from Eastenders. Not much else to say about that one.
teamvampire - My first Twilight dedicated website. 'Team Vampire' was the term used by the Twilight fandom to show they supported Edward (or vampires) over Jacob (or werewolves).
spikesmissus - Pretty obvious really, I loved Spike from Buffy by the time this site was being made so I called me his missus basically.
mass-paragon - Well... mass - like a lot of something, and paragon means like an ideal perfection. I love the word 'paragon' and mass-paragon was, in my mind, an ideal perfection - and a whole lot of it.
jmgroupe - This was actually first said by my friend, Kafie. I was jmgroupe (for James Marsters) and she was jbgroupe (for John Barrowman) - you can imagine the fun we had with Torchwood. Anyway, I was his 'groupe' apparently, that's where this sprung from.
emilythevampireslayer - Hahaha, well, come on, I HAD to. I've always wanted a site called that so when I purchased my domain name, I found it entirely necessary. Yeah, yeah, not much explaining to do - I'm Emily... the Vampire Slayer!!!
Child Names
Tuscany - I love this name for a number of reasons. First, it is the name of a gorgeous place in Italy; second, it is a men's aftershave that you can no longer buy but which smelt heavenly and it is also the name of a character off a Pokemon game. One of my longest running favourite names - I've loved it for years.
Reuben - I first heard the name Reuben whilst reading this book about these angels in heaven. I really liked it straight away and my love for the character helped this become one of my favourite names ever.
Gillette - This came from my Mother really. She told me she wanted to call me this because the brands slogan was: "Gillette, the best a man can get." Though probably if she'd called me it, I would have been a lesbian to spite her. But, hey, I really love the name too.
Zeus - Obviously, Zeus is the King of the Greek Gods... come on, any Greek God would be fabulous -but the king? It seems like a strong and powerful name, I'd definitely love my son to be called this - I dare any kid to try and pick on Zeus.
Jensen - Okay, well this originates from Jensen Ackles from Supernatural, basically, I think he's gorgeous but I love the name too. It's not too unusual whilst still being interesting.
Ikey - Ikey is the name of my great-uncle who died. I was very close to him and he meant the world to me. In truth, his real name was Derek Isaiah but everybody had always called him Ikey, so if I named someone after him, they would have to be Ikey too.
