Welcome To The Hellmouth
Opened: August 8, 2008

Welcome to Emily The Vampire Slayer, my name is Emily (surprised?) & this is my personal webspace that is free for me to say as I like in. You don't agree with my ramblings? That's fine, leave. I'm not out to offend or upset anyone but, like most, I'm very opiniated... that can often get in the way of my desire to be friends with everyone I meet because I won't drop my beliefs for anyone. Why should I? But feel free to take a look around and comment my blogs. Any questions, issues or complaints can be addressed here.

Vampires, Authors & French Maids

Okay, the best place to start would, of course, be the beginning. This may or may not be my final blog before Christmas depending upon the time I have and if anything extremely interesting happens between now and then. The main point is, I'm going to get everything I need to say out right now. In my head it seems like a lot but it often does and is then disappointing when I write it out and it looks decidedly measly on the screen - I shall do my best.
First, last Tuesday was my certificate evening.G.P.Taylor I looked pretty good to be honest, I won't lie. I was wearing my sexy but classy new 'figure-hugging formal dress' and my beautiful shoes with the heels and bow on the front... sigh... Anyway, I got there and I'd been seated near the front with others who were receiving special awards, however they'd all gotten notices about it in the post and all I'd been sent was the invite for the evening so I assumed it was a mistake with the seating. Then they called my name for the special award for History, which I guess is pretty good because only two can get an award for each subject. Turns out my parents thought it would be a nice idea to give me a little surprise and had hidden my notice that I should have got in the post, what they didn't know was that my heart gets weak at such events anyway without being blasted by the shock of an extra award. Oh well, I survived. And Sam was there - he yelled across the hall as soon as I walked in and I had to battle my way through the crowded rows in my tight skirt to give him a hug. He did tell me how nice I looked though. Um, and I forget to mention that G.P.Taylor, the author of 'Shadowmancer' came to do a talk for us all at the school and he presented me with my award, seems like a cool guy. Afterwards, me and Sam and this girl called Hayley snuck off into the Sixth Form common room and Sam decided he wanted a hot chocolate from the vending machine. As we were waiting we got talking about his new boyfriend, Liam, but Sam is so crude... he started filling us in on how he sounds when he's you-know-whatting and then he went: "And he cries", I said: "What?! Are you serious?" "Yeah, he cries cos I'm so big" and that was when my Mum walked round the corner shouting my name and all three of us just laughed our asses off. Sam, giggling like a pubescent girl, asked my Mum if she'd heard our conversation - luckily she hadn't. And, by the way, my award contained a £10 voucher for WHSmith which I dutifully spent on Stephenie Meyer's book 'The Host'.
Which brings me perfectly onto 'Twilight', I went to see the first showing on the first day it arrived in the cinemas. It was me, Flick, Kafie, Liz, Steph, Julia, Emma L, Emma T and Becky who went and it was brilliant - I loved it! Robert Pattinson is fit as anything in that film... but, ah, I better not spoil anything for those who haven't been to see it yet, just take my advice: go watch it. After we came out of the cinemas, everybody except me and Kafie went to Freeport to get out of the horrible weather; but us two, crazy as we are, went on that ride where there's a long row of seats and it lifts you up, around and then down again. The Ride Me And Kafie Went On Oh, to Hell with trying to explain it, it looks like this picture. And while we were in mid-air, we were discussing our Ugg boots. Kafie said: "How much were yours?" Me: "About £10" Kafie: "Haha, £4 from Primark" Me: "I've been ripped off!!" Good times, good times.
But not everything has been good news. Mr Harrison, the best teacher to ever serve in the teaching world, retired last Thursday. It seems so unnatural for him not to be there, he's always been there, 20+ years in fact. He is a part of St Wilfrid's, it doesn't seem right for him to no longer be as one with it. We (all his old students) went to see him on his last day and he said he would miss us all and asked us what we had planned for the future, I told him I wanted to go into Politics and he seemed impressed - I love it when he's impressed!
Well, away from dreariness now. Have you ever seen 'The Great Rock 'n' Roll Swindle' starring the Sex Pistols in all their glory. For one, Sid Vicious is hot as hell on that bit where he climbs out of bed and sort of rubs his balls, haha, and that bit where he's on the motorbike. One of my favourite parts is where Sid is walking down the street holding a cake and this woman is looking at him and he goes up to her and says: "You want this? You want this?" and shoves it in her face. The Great Rock 'n' Roll SwindleOh, and ever seen the film 'History Of Violence'? I haven't seen the whole film properly but there's one really hot sex scene in it. I wanted to put it here on my profile but I figured it might offend some people so I'm gonna link to it instead: Here you go.
The final message I have is about plans for the new year. On New Year's Eve, I'm going out with Danielle and her mates; we're going to go round Xscape into Fusion, The Lounge and whatnot and then we're getting a Taxi into Castleford for more fun. I can't wait. Then on New Year's Day, after recovering from the night before, I'm going to Jack's where he has enough Blue WKD to swim in and I'm stopping over there. So, should be awesome. Also, for danielle's birthday, we're off out in Ann Summer's gear. Danielle is going as a naughty schoolgirl, Lizzie as a Sailor and I will be a French Maid!!! Heehee, oh the joys of doing what my parents would disown me for. Later x.
