Welcome to
Emily The Vampire Slayer, my name is Emily (
surprised?) & this is my personal webspace that is free for me to say as I like in. You don't agree with my ramblings? That's fine, leave. I'm not out to offend or upset anyone but, like most, I'm very opiniated... that can often get in the way of my desire to be friends with everyone I meet because I won't drop my beliefs for anyone.
Why should I? But feel free to take a look around and comment my blogs. Any questions, issues or complaints can be addressed
here.

Isn't that blog title just, like, the best saying ever? Haha. I found it on a t-shirt while browsing
Cafepress and I was so impressed. I'm not American pretty obviously and this is an American saying (also pretty obviously) but so what - it's perfect! Women should rule the world, control the Government, show men how ridiculous they've been for centuries. The saying comes from the old male sexist quote that: "A woman's place is in the house" but, you know, with the cool parliamentary twist.

So, yeah, you've probably guessed that I'm still on my way to running for Prime Minister (hey, let me have my dreams) you never know, one day I might be. Every single day on my way to College I go to the shop and buy the Times to educate myself in worldly affairs, people have been on my case about it (you read the Times?!) but I'm good, I like feeling intelligent. I'm also working on a possible new site layout, it might not come through, though, because its so difficult having to set all the coding up again in the new format.
What else have I done? I've joined up at a rather addictive site called
Shelfari where you get a shelf and you can add to it all the books you've read, are reading or plan to read. It's pretty good actually. Um, and I've joined the organ donor register so my card is on it's way through the post; I actually think that the new law to keep it as opt-in rather than opt-out was wrong. I believe it should be compulsory to donate organs after death, I mean, think about it - you're dead, you don't need them. Why would anyone want to stop someone else having the chance at life when they are dead and don't need their organs? I can't believe anyone would be so unrightfully selfish. Well, actually I can, but I don't want to. Oh, and that's another thing, I'm probably going to head off to the next meeting of the British Debating Society. Or something similiar because that is way down in London. I'm big for expressing my opinions of late. I suppose I always was but it's become more prominent now that I've become interested in politics, I feel the need to comment upon most things, as you usually do in Government. In fact, I've collected my beliefs upon a lot of things, some are quite controversial...
Baby P
I think the culprits should be sentenced to death. No questions asked, it is disgusting what they did and I believe that death is a weak punishment compared to what they deserve. Also, any social workers involved in the case who failed in their jobs should be sacked.
Plastic Surgery
- Should be legal.
- Advertisements should be banned.
- Dangers should be made clear to the public.
Smoking
Should be illegal everywhere.
Abortion
- Mother should be made clear of all her options.
- Final decision should be made by the mother alone.
Organ Donation
Should be compulsory.
Rape
Should be jailed for life (could be sentenced to death).
Prostitution
- Strict laws on pimping, culprits will be jailed.
- Men's wives informed by letter of their husband's activities.
- Discouragement to women - however, not a full ban.
