Welcome to Emily The Vampire Slayer, my name is Emily (surprised?) & this is my personal webspace that is free for me to say as I like in. You don't agree with my ramblings? That's fine, leave. I'm not out to offend or upset anyone but, like most, I'm very opiniated... that can often get in the way of my desire to be friends with everyone I meet because I won't drop my beliefs for anyone. Why should I? But feel free to take a look around and comment my blogs. Any questions, issues or complaints can be addressed here.

Okay, okay... first thing: today was my first day at College. Yep, that's right I'm a student! Well, I guess I've been a student for the past eleven years but now I'm a student, come on, you know what I mean. Anyway, point is, it was really nerve-wracking, I didn't know anyone in my lessons and no one in my form. Plus, I look like a complete dorkus on my student card.
But, I did become a lot closer to people I knew at my old school like Cecilia, Micah, Liam and Chris, in fact, Chris sent me a pretty dirty text message which was... surprising, to say the least. At lunch we ate ice-creams on the field and during my free period I sat outside McDonald's. I made some new friends in my form because we were all in the same boat and none of us knew each other. There was me, Catherine, Becca, Gareth and Hazel. My form tutor is Steve Thornton.
My teacher's are, on the whole, insane. I had psychology with a guy called Nigel who made us go round the class and introduce ourselves, the history teacher split her trousers and the maths teacher was clearly high as a kite on something. Things are pretty good so far.
In other news, I'm trying my hand as an artist and have done quite a few drawings on Deviant Art but I'm not that great to be honest. When I get better, I'll post them on here. What else have I done? I've bought loads of stuff on ebay, I have a new website: Slayercommathe and I'm saving up for another domain which leads onto the reason behind the title of this blog. I really want, wait for it... sailonsilvergirl.com. It costs £4.95 a year, which wouldn't be too bad at all if I wasn't skint. If you don't know, it's a line from the Simon and Garfunkel song 'Bridge Over Troubled Water'. I used to think that song was boring and that it dragged on, but now that I've grown to appreciate it, I love it. And apparently, it's supposed to actually symbolize heroin as the Bridge Over Troubled Water; you may think, well why do you want that? Are you a junkie? Ha, no, I just thought it was a nice touch and I like the fact that quite a few won't get it.
While I'm at it, I'd just like to give a special mention to my mascot and partner in crime (since I was three), the darling Baloo. He is kindly modelling a Nigel Harman t-shirt, because I used to love Nigel and a pair of Union Jack shorts which I nabbed from Build-A-Bear. Not literally, I mean, I didn't steal them. Notice: The next part of this blog was written on 02.09.08 Yeah, I had to go pick up Jake last night and it was too late to go on when I came back. So, basically I just want to reccommend these videos that are hilarious; ever heard of Phillip and Fern? They're this duo on morning TV and they're so unbelievably funny together. Check them out here. Um, and today was my second day of college, it's starting to feel more real now... today, Lemuel came back to the flat with me and showed off to Rita as per usual. I also finally got the bill info about the Buffy DVD magazine but that's a touchy subject because not everything is going to plan; it's not too bad, it should get resolved anyway. So a final goodbye with my last word to be on fanlistings... I have discovered the adoption centre which I'm pretty addicted to because I can find loads of my favourite fanlistings to snatch up when people don't want them. I'm creating them for all sorts of things; eventually, I'll post them all in the 'Fan' section, but 'til then, my news and updates will have to do. Au revoir.
